Join studio staff artist, Donna for this full-day class where you will create a three bloom free-standing copper foil orchid plant. Explore the basics of three dimensional copper foil work including the use of copper tubing, and delicate foiling and go home with a gorgeous statement piece that you can say you built yourself!
Class Date: Saturday May 16th starting at 10:30AM
How is this class different from other studio offerings?
This is an intermediate level class that will incorporate cutting, grinding, foiling and soldering in three dimensions. We recommend this class for intermediate stained glass participants who already know how to confidently cut and grind glass, and have basic soldering skills.
Includes:
All needed safety equipment and project materials. A terracotta pot will be provided, however we will have a specially prepared insert that fits a 4 in diameter pot at least 4 inches tall.
5+ hours of instruction, modeling, and support
A one of a kind piece of art to take home with you!

A few days prior to class, we will reach out with a welcome email to share available glass colors and answer any questions.
Each participant must purchase a ticket, and complete the class waiver at check-out. If you are purchasing a ticket for a friend as a surprise, they can complete their waiver online here.
Beverages not included in workshop fee, but we have a wide variety of tasty local brews, as well as wine, juice, and coffee! Feel free to bring outside food, although we have lots of small snacks for munching too or frequent our neighbors at The Flying Pierogi (they’ll even walk it over to you).
Cancellations must be requested at least 48 hours in advance, and while we will always try our best to reschedule you, cancellations without the above notice or no-shows are non-refundable.
